There was quite a good turnout for the July 4 Celebrations considering the late notice. The atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than the last few years and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. No problems with Monteith's service, it was excellent.
Paul De Martin's Lincoln Capri out for another run since getting on the road a few months ago. Paul's done most of the work himself and it's looking super-sharp. The Capri has an extra 6" in the body than the Ford and heaps of luxury extras such as air-conditioning and automatic headlight dimmer. A great time was had by all. We've had a few requests to organise a cruise to follow after the breakfast which I'm sure won't be problem if the Clubs' keen. One of Marty's cryptic Poker Runs could be the go.
